Come and join us for a leisurely stroll through the vibrant native plant aisles at Homestead Gardens. Our knowledgeable guides will delve into the significance of soil tests, elucidate the concept of “right plant, right place,” and provide expert advice on proper care techniques. During the session, we will specifically delve into a variety of captivating perennials, bushes, and trees available at Homestead Gardens, offering you a comprehensive understanding of these botanical wonders.

About your instructor: Kathy Doyle, Master Gardeners of Kent County

Kathleen Marie Doyle, a Kent County Master Gardener, is currently enrolled in the Mt. Cuba Ecological Gardening Certificate program. Passionate about native plants and their ecosystem roles, she focuses on feeding pollinators, enriching the soil, and cleansing groundwater.
