The ugliest month in the garden

Lamb's ear in my garden having a bad hair month.

Every month gardenbloggers post what’s blooming in their garden on the 15th, but like all Marylanders, there’s absolutely nothing to show you.  In fact, even the groundcovers that looked great a month ago have emerged from the snow looking really ratty.  A few dead leaves add to the tableau of gray and decay.

So I paid a visit to Homestead for Bloom Day just to see some color, and photographed my favorite for you – okay, really for me.  I love cyclamen paired with this lovely green plant with the white flower,  the name of which I can’t remember.  Anyone?
