Inside the Cabin and Oh Holy Night

Be Inspired Seasonally with Rita Calvert

Last week on our tour through Homestead Gardens Enchanted Woods, we were drawn to the cabin by the friendly forest friends. As we enter what really seems like a comfy lodge, aromas of fresh greenery abound while a bright holiday tree, a roaring fire and a festive mantle create a vignette that fulfills our senses.

First Impressions

Beautiful accents furnish the inviting cabin. Notice that many of the items are the very popular nature-oriented wood grained platters, bowls and decorations.

What a remarkable chair!

Vivid touches of red pottery, natural wood, a bit of silver here and there…then there is the earthy Santa figures.

Further Exploration

After warming up at the cabin, we come across a rustic church among the trees. A decorative tree, adorned with ornaments of the nativity is the backdrop for Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus. Step inside for replicas of the nativity along with golden angels.
