Groundcovers that still look great in mid-November

Just when it appeared that we’d debated ALL the possible reasons to remove dead leaves from our gardens, up pops another and it’s these lovely groundcovers.    Me, I’d rather look at these all winter than brown leaves.  Clockwise from upper left are: Hellebore, lambs’ ears, Vinca minor, Pulmonaria, Carex ‘Ice Dance’, and Ajuga.
