Color for Every Season…

Break out of the winter doldrums in March, with a great selection of cheerful  and colorful cool-weather annuals such as primrose, pansies, ranunculus, nemesia, alyssum, snapdragons, and more. Bring spring inside with a selection of  blooming bulbs like tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths. Tabletop weeping pussy willow trees and potted wheat grass and mosses add a bit of whimsy to your spring decorating. Spring vegetable plants like broccoli, cabbage, and lettuce typically arrive toward the end of the month to get your garden growing.

By late April, we are in full swing and bursting at the seams with color, color, color! Fresh plants arrive daily as we stock an ever-changing kaleidoscope of blooms, in pots and hanging baskets. Gorgeous hibiscus and a large selection of rare and unusual tropical bloomers are ready to warm up your spring, arriving weekly. Tomatoes, peppers, and other summer veggie plants, in addition to a vast selection of potted herbs, arrive daily, for your growing pleasure.

Fall actually begins in late August in our Annuals department, as cool season vegetables, mums, pansies, and ornamental peppers, cabbage and kale mingle with frost-tolerant annuals like dianthus, snapdragons, nemesia, and more. Create long-lasting fall containers easily with our carefully chosen selection of cold-tolerant annuals and evergreen foliage accents.

Poinsettias arrive in November, so don’t forget to stop by and see our amazing painted poinsettia collection. Each plant is hand-painted and glittered on site–a unique living work of art. Add some fun to your indoor holiday display with our dazzling painted and glittered ornamental cabbage. Herb gardens and topiaries make fragrant and useful gifts.

We carry a full selection of basic culinary herbs year-round, so stop by for those basil and rosemary plants in January—you never know what else you might find!!

We are also available for custom container design and planting at any time of year. Our container specialists can plant in our pots or yours, and will usually have your planters ready within one week in our busy season, sooner at other times.
