The West Annapolis Pop Up Pantry was created by two moms who sought to ease the burden of food insecurity for people in Annapolis who lost their income due to COVID-19 and who don’t have access to federal aid such as unemployment, stimulus checks, or loans.
Food is the most basic building block of our humanity. Without food we can be neither comfortable nor comforted, able to recover from illness or to be healthy. Certainly without good food, we cannot thrive.
The West Annapolis Pop Up Pantry delivers healthy and nutritious foods and meals directly to otherwise unsupported families who are sick, elderly, pregnant or without other means to feed themselves or their children. They also coordinate and support food aid events in the City of Annapolis.
