United States Equestrian Team representative and founder and head coach of Equestriancoach.com Bernie Traurig presented a three day intensive training at Enticement Stables/Obligation Farm, Davidsonville Deana Tice for equestrian enthusiasts of all experience levels. Homestead Gardens equestrian enthusiast Jacqueline Bowen was one of the participants.
Jacqueline rides an Off The Track Thoroughbred as a jumper that she adopted.
Bernie focuses on key points to improve horse and rider connection. Two such points is to know where the base of the jump is and to see the distance. His focus is using a Cavaletti 100 times a day for five days a week so it becomes second nature. When doing so he says using the Cavaletti will allow the horse to repeat the exercise over and over without muscle fatigue or rider exhaustion.
We have easy to handle Cavaletti’s in stock in various colors. Stop by Farm and Pet to speak with our expert staff.
