Philadelphia Flower Show Bus Trip 2017

Due to the weather and concern for our customer’s safety, we have decided to reschedule the trip for Saturday, March 18th. Departure time and schedule will be the same. We are contacting all those who have registered to confirm their availability. If you are interested in going, please call Customer Service at 410-798-5000 to be placed on our wait list. The 2017 PHS Philadelphia Flower Show will showcase the extraordinary plants, creativity and talent of this region’s top horticulturists and designers along with award winning landscape and floral designers from the Netherlands.

From towering windmills, wooden shoes and delectable cheeses, to the whimsical bicycles, canals and vibrant tulip fields of the iconic Dutch landscape, the 2017 Flower Show will share the diverse stories of horticulture, innovative eco-design, and modern urban greening and sustainability efforts of the Netherlands.


Homestead Gardens has made a tradition of visiting the show as a group. We do the planning to make it easy for our customers to visit this extraordinary show. This year we will be travelling on Tuesday, March 14th, 2017 Saturday, March 18th, 2017.

Trip Itinerary

  • 8:00am: Check-in and breakfast of coffee & donuts
  • 9:00am: Buses depart from Davidsonville store
  • 11:30-5:30pm: Enjoy the show at your own leisure!
  • 6:00pm: Meet at bus drop-off location
  • 6:30pm: Buses depart from Convention Center
  • 9:00pm: Estimated arrival in Davidsonville

Check-in will be at the Customer Service desk inside the store and the buses will be waiting by the flag poles. Please park by the flag poles. Boarding will begin at 8:45 am and the buses will depart promptly at 9am, so don’t be late!

Cancellation/Refund Policy

  • If a participant cancels more than 5 days prior to the event (before 5pm on March 9th, 2017) and a wait-listed person is NOT found to fill the seat, the participant will receive a refund of $47 ($28 is non-refundable).
  • If a participant cancels more than 5 days prior to the event (before 5pm on March 9th, 2017) and a wait-listed person is found to fill the seat, then a full refund will be made.
  • If a participant cancels less than 5 days prior to the event (after 5pm on March 9th, 2017) and a wait-listed person is NOT found to fill the seat, then no refund will be made.
  • If weather is in the forecast within a week leading up to the trip, we will notify attendees with details of our cancellation policy.


  • Online: Now you can purchase tickets and reserve your seat online! If you have previously registered for an event with us, just log-in and pay via credit card. If you are a new online customer, enter your information to create an account. All information is kept confidential and credit card transactions are safe and secure. Online registration will be open until Sunday, March 12th at Midnight.
  • In-Store: Purchase tickets from the customer service desk at either the Davidsonville or Severna Park store. Pay via cash, credit, or check.
  • Phone: You can reserve your ticket over the phone with your credit card information. Call our customer service desk @ 410.798.5000.
